    Terms of Use

The rules that govern access to Synrgy's website, pilots, and platform.

    Effective October 25, 2026

    Clear terms for institutional use

Synrgy supports participant guidance and institutional workflows. Customer agreements define each deployment's scope, data responsibilities, and commercial terms.

    1. Agreement and authority

These Terms of Use govern access to synrgyai.com and Synrgy's platform, pilots, and related services. By using the services, you agree to these terms and confirm that you have authority to act for your organization when using Synrgy on its behalf.

A signed order form, pilot agreement, data processing addendum, or other institutional agreement may contain additional terms. That agreement controls if it conflicts with these terms.

    2. Accounts and institutional administration

You must provide accurate information, protect your credentials, and promptly report suspected unauthorized access. Institutional administrators may manage accounts, permissions, records, and service settings within their organization.

If an institution provides your access, its policies and instructions may also apply. The institution may control or request access to data associated with its program, subject to its agreement with Synrgy.

    3. Acceptable use

You may not use Synrgy to:

    • Violate law, contracts, privacy rights, or intellectual property rights.
    • Upload data you are not authorized to provide.
    • Bypass access controls, probe vulnerabilities, or disrupt the services.
    • Distribute malware, fraudulent content, or harmful automated activity.
    • Reverse engineer or copy protected elements except where law permits.
    • Make a final high-impact decision about a person solely from an AI output without appropriate human review.

    4. Customer content and AI-assisted outputs

You or your institution retain ownership of information submitted to Synrgy. You grant Synrgy the limited rights needed to host, process, secure, and deliver the requested services. Our handling of personal information is described in the Privacy & Data Policy.

AI-assisted roadmaps, summaries, recommendations, and other outputs may be incomplete or inaccurate. They provide guidance and require appropriate human review. You are responsible for evaluating outputs before relying on or sharing them.

    5. Synrgy technology and feedback

Synrgy and its licensors own the platform, software, designs, documentation, and related intellectual property. These terms grant a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the services as authorized.

If you provide feedback, you allow Synrgy to use it to improve the services without an obligation to compensate you. We will not identify you publicly as the source without permission.

    6. Third-party services

Synrgy may connect with third-party platforms or rely on service providers. Their products and terms may apply separately. Synrgy is not responsible for third-party services outside its control, and an integration does not imply endorsement.

    7. Availability, changes, and suspension

We may update the services, correct errors, and suspend access when reasonably necessary for security, legal compliance, nonpayment, or a material breach. Pilot functionality and availability may change as described in the applicable pilot agreement.

    8. Disclaimers and liability

To the extent permitted by law, the services are provided "as is" and "as available." Synrgy disclaims implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee a job, admission, funding award, program outcome, or uninterrupted service.

To the extent permitted by law, Synrgy will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages. Any monetary liability is limited to amounts paid for the applicable services in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim. A signed institutional agreement may set different limits.

    9. Termination and general terms

You may stop using the public website at any time. Account termination and data return or deletion for institutional services follow the applicable agreement. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will remain in effect.

New Jersey law governs these terms without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Courts located in New Jersey will have jurisdiction unless an institutional agreement states otherwise. We may update these terms and will post the revised date and any notice required by law.
